『６ペンスの歌を歌おう』という題で知られているマザー・グースで、原詩からは「歌を歌おう」と「ポケット」だけを借りています。 原詩にある「ツグミが飛び出すパイ」というのは本当にあったとか……どんなものだったんでしょう。
